An End to Seclusion

An End to Seclusion is a Sub Mission in Nioh 2. This mission is recommended for level 34, has a difficulty level of 4, and features yokai enemies. An End to Seclusion tasks players with clearing out a horde of Yokai that's within the forest. This mission is unlocked after completing the Main Mission: The Hollow Fortress. I come to you most humbly and ask you to hear my request. Following the discussion that has been going on with the Azai clan, I am set to wed Lord Azai Namagasa.

But I fear that the road I mist travel to Oumi is far from safe. There is a forest there that is a host to a horde of yokai.

Do you think you could see fit to drive these beasts out of the forest?

Although I am the daughter of a warrior, I am afraid I have no taste for fighting myself. I know not everyone approves of this wedding, but it is for that very reason that I wish to become a bridge between the Oda and Azai clans.

An End to Seclusion Walkthrough

For this mission, it is pretty much straightforward where you are task to clear out waves of Yokai. You'll find the shrine at the starting point. After you've prepared, head forward where you'll reach the first section that is blocked, you'll encounter a Karakasa Umbrella yokai first, followed by a Yamanba, then a dark realm will appear where you'll face a Karasu Tengu and Oni-bi.

Basically, you'll have to clear three areas where you'll encounter Yokai. The last set of Yokai for each section will always have the dark realm in it. If ever you clear out each dark realm at the end of each section, you can always go back to the shrine and save your progress, it will not respawn the enemies of the section that you've cleared. The gauntlet of yokai are as follows:

First Section: Starts with Karakasa Umbrella and Yamanba. It ends with Karasu Tengu and Oni-bi in the dark realm.
Second Section: Starts with One-eyed Oni and two Aberrant Soldier. It ends with Waira and Oni-bi in the dark realm.
Third Section: Starts with Yamanba, Aberrant Soldier, and One-eyed Oni. It ends with an Aberrant Soldier and a Rokurokubi in the dark realm.

Successfully clearing the last section completes this sub-mission.
