Apprentice Tonfa is one of the Tonfas in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Tonfa Skills skill tree, and usually has good scaling with the Courage stat. They also scale with the Constitution and Dexterity stats. So if your Build has high Courage, consider using this Weapon type.

Apprentice Tonfa Description

Tonfa used by niya, newly recruited retainers to the Sho clan, the rulers of Ryuku Province, modern day Okinawa. The addition of thin pieces of metal and hemp cord give these tonfa a crude apperance and do not serve to strengthen them in any significant way.
