Arrowsbane Greaves Description
Shin guards made of thin metal plates and leather fashioned into a single piece that is wrapped around the shin. This set of heavy armour was owned by Fujiwara-no-Hidesato, a general famed for his exploits which include defeating the samurai insurgent Tairo-no-Masakado, and slaying a Great Centipede at the request of a dragon god who appeared before him on Setanokara Bridge. The dragon presented him with his legendary suit of armour as a reward for performing this great deed. As long as the armour is worn, it is said that no arrow will ever strike the wearer.
