Black Lacquer Long Sword is one of the Odachis in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Odachi Skills skill tree. The Odachi weapon type scales very well with Strength, but also has some scaling from Stamina and Heart. So if your Build has high Strength, consider using this Weapon type.
Black Lacquer Long Sword Description
A long sword thought to have been wielded by Sakanoue no Tamuramaro in his campaign against the Emishi. According to records, a blade was given to him to mark his appointment as commander-in-chief, and this sword is considered to be the one in question. After praying for success at Kurama Temple, Tamuramaro set off for battle and achieved victory. Upon his triumphant return to the capital, he offered up his long sword as tribute to very same temple. As its name suggests, the black lacquered sheath and grip are this sword's most distinctive features. Its design went on to influence that of other blades in the generations that followed.
