Braided Straw Helmet is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Braided Straw Helmet Description
This is one of a family of helmets featuring fantastical designs. It was worn by Sengoku Hidehisa who served Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The design uses straw ropes woven in an intricate pattern. The side crests of gold fern leaves that wrap around the skullcap have been added to make the helmet appear larger, rather than make it more plesing to the eye. Ever since Hidehisa began serving Hideyoshi on Oda Nobunaga's orders, he distinguised himself in battle time and again, from the Battle of Anegawa to the Siege of Odawara.. It is unknown in exactly which battles this helmet was used.
