Build Strategy & Video

This build is based on Onmyo Magic, utilizing multiple elements to confuse your enemies and inflict 100% to 150% more damage. You want high onmyo magic power as that effects how fast the stats aliment effects. In the begging you want to use the onmyo hunting gear to get increase magic power. Mid to late game you will get the other sets. The lightning shot magic skill will be the most used due to most enemies in the game will not having lightning resistance.To inflict the confusion ailment you will need to get the opponent two stats ailment, you will cast whatever the enemies opposite element is. If the enemy is an ice or water-based enemy, you will cast fire shot at them until you inflict the confusion ailment. Once confusion is inflicted, you combo them into oblivion. The higher your magic power, the faster they will become confused. You’ll also want points into barrier and steel talismans to gain Ki recovery and improve your defense. You should use whatever stance with the switchglaive you want to use.

My points are 17 in Skill and 15 in strength to use the armor that’s recommended. I did constitution to 20, Heart and Courage to 10 and dumped the rest into Magic. You can use the Book of Reincarnation later to get more points into magic to further increase your Onmyo Magic power.

This build will shred most enemies in its path and is very useful in cooperative play as well. This build can go into NG+ as is with just adding more points into magic to increase your magic power.
