Courtier's Gauntlets is a Heavy Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Courtier's Gauntlets Description
These gauntlets are fashioned from three black-lacquered iron sheets and offer appropriate defense for a courtier who might have been called upon to protect his master.
They are part of a set armor said to have been owned by one of the leading courtiers to the shogun during the Muromachi period.
