Custom Active Skills allow you to enhance the properties of certain active skills. You can increase your damage, apply status effects to them, or reduce the amount of Ki it takes to do them.

 

How to use Custom Active Skills

  • First, Custom Active Skills are unlocked by spending Skill Points into their respective trees (Samurai or Shiftling)
  • Then, go to the Skill Customization Menu in the options menu. On the right side of an active skill you will find a greyed out circle on eligible active skills.
  • Then, press the custom active skill settings button (Square on Playstation) to pull up a menu of your available Custom Active Skills. You can only place one Custom Active Skill on each Active Skill, and only one copy of each Custom Active Skill can be placed on each weapon. Certain active skills, such as Heron Kick, do not have access to all of the custom active skills, typically the elemental arcana.

Reckless Slice Samurai Skills Increases the damage dealt by certain Active Skills by 10%. In exchange, you will not be able to perform a Ki Pulse. 
Nimble Slice Samurai Skills Reduces the damage dealt by certain Active Skills by 20%. In exchange, they will consume less ki to perform. Ki Consumption Rate 0.90
Arcana of Fire Shiftling Skills Imbues certain Active Skills with the Fire element.
Arcana of Water Shiftling Skills Imbues certain Active Skills with the Water element. -

Refulgent Strike Shiftling Skills Increases the amount of Amrita earned when defeating an enemy iwht certain Active Skills by 100%
Mercenary Strike Shiftling Skills Increases the drop rate of items by 10% when defeating an enemy with certain Active Skills
