This skill essentially adds flat attack to a specific active skill. You will notice a much larger increase in damage with something that has low attack score, and as your attack increases the effectiveness of this decreases, especially if you haven't invested heavily in this stat. Its also multiplicative with any buffs or melee damage you might have, as well as not having a large downside, so it very may well be your best damage option
