This page covers information regarding Darkness in the Capital DLC: you'll find the newly added content, collectibles, and the new trophies that can be unlocked.
In order to unravel the mysteries surrounding the history of the Sohayamaru, our protagonist ventures to Kyoto City and discovers a shrine furnished with an old worn-out box. Upon inspection, the Sohayamaru once again shines brilliantly and the protagonist is whisked away to the middle of the Heian Period, landing in an ancient version of the capital.
Contrary to its name “Heian Palace,” which means peace and tranquility, ancient Kyoto was terrorized by countless Yokai during this time period. However, there existed many heroes who were brave enough to oppose these demons. Among them were the most preeminent demon slayer and the strongest sorcerer in history, along with their subordinates and colleagues fighting at their side.
Our protagonist joins forces with these famous heroes in order to quell the unrest and destruction caused by the Yokai hordes, while learning more about the connections between an even more distant past and the present time period from which they came.

Kodama
Suzune in the Flames
- After defeating the Oboroguruma, just go straight towards a dead end where you'll find a broken carriage. Destroy it and you'll find the first Kodama for this mission.
- From where Oboroguruma was, turn right and then left where you'll see x2 Oni-bi. Kill it and then dash through the flames. Break the bucket of water that's on the right side to remove the burning effect, loot the corpse next to it, and then on the left side, you'll see a wooden box. Destroy it to find the second and last Kodama for this mission.

Sadly in its final DLC there is no PvP and I dont think there will be patches adding it.

Is it only me or the grind is actually gone to a whole new level after this update?! Tempering is pretty dumb now, you can't even get any melee VS poison or paralyzed anymore.. Hard to even find any rarity or grace inheritance items..
