Demon Slayer Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Demon Slayer Cuirass Description
A cuirass consisting of deep-blue platelets woven together with black thread. The plate over the left breast features a rare and uncharacteristic rounded shape, and is decorated with a white pattern imbued with the power to exorcise evil. While the right side of the armor features a simple sleeve, the left sleeve has yokai materials embedded in it to give it a bold finish.
Part of a set of armor worn by the legendary yokai hunter, Minamoto no Yorimitsu. Yorimitsu and her retainers, the Four Guardians, devoted themselves to maintaining peace in the capital, and as a result she occupied a position of trust at the Imperial Court. This helped lay the ground for the subsequent prosperity of the Minamoto clan.
