Diehard's Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Diehard's Helmet Description
A pointed helmet with wing-like decorations adorning the sides. It is part of a set of armor owned by Tokugawa loyalist. Torii Mototada, highly acclaimed as being a warrior among warriors in Mikawa. After becoming a hostage of the Imagawa clan, Mototada served Tokugawa leyasu, and fought against the likes of the Asai, Asakura, and Takeda clans on the road to unifying Mikawa. In a battle with the Ho jo clan where leyasu was attacked from behind by the enemy, Mototada was able to drive them back with only a small contingent of troops. He remained loyal to leyasu until his dying days, and could always be seen wearing the same armor on the battlefield.
