Dokisai's Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Dokisai's Helmet Description
A helm said to belong to Yamamoto Kansuke, who served as a general to Takeda Shingen, the daimyo of Kai Province (present-day Yamagata prefecture) during the Warring States period. The helm features a plow-shaped front crest and a patch to cover teh eye the owner had lost. The one-eyed Kansuke rose from the former convict to Shingen's attendant, using his resourceful nature to expand his sphere of influence. He always dutifully carried out his master's requests, and when Shingen became a priest, so did he, changing his name to "Dokisai." In the fourth battle of Kawanakajima (in present_day Nagano prefecture), he suggested outwitting the enemy with a diversionary tactic he called the "woodpecker strategy," which split the attacking forces in two,. However, the brilliant general Uesegi Kenshin of Echigo (present-day Niigata prefecture) saw through this plow and blindsided Kansuke, who fought courageously to his death
