Dual Swords Skills is a skill tree in Nioh 2. This skill tree focuses more on progressing the potency, mastery, and capabilities of using the Dual Swords weapon.

 

 

How to Acquire Dual Swords Skills

  • Dual Swords Skills are unlocked by spending Skill Points into the tree.
  • Dual Swords Skill Points are unlocked whenever you use the Dual Swords weapon to attack and kill enemies
  • Alternatively, players can consume certain items to obtain a Dual Swords Skill Point

Demon Thrust Active

A combination move incorporating defense and attack. Thrusts a sword while simultaneously guarding. (Mid Stance Only).

Mind's Eye Active You now clearly see, and evade. all incoming attacks during the recovery period followin a dodge. (Low Stance Only) 1

Mind's Eye II Active When Mind's Eye is successful, increases attack power. (low Stance Only) 1
God of Wind Active Follows up a Quick Attack with a roundhouse kick. (Mid/Low Stance Only)

God of Wind II Active Allows you to follow-up God of Wind with a quick slash attack by pressing Triangle button again. (Mid/low Stance Only) 1
God of Wind III Active Correctly timing an additional press of Triangle button after God of Wind, slows you to perform a quick double slash attack.

Random Slice Active Rushes forward while swinging two swords. (Mid Stance Only) 1
Water Sword Active Slices an enemy multiple times. (Hold down the button to alter the attack.) (High Stance Only).

Water Sword II Active Increases the slicing speed of the Water Sword technique. (High Stance Only) 1

Cherry Blossom Active Follows up a Quick Attack with a jumping slice. (High Stance Only).

Spinning Dragon Active After a Quick Attack, perform a spinning leap as you unleash a series of slashes. Follow up with an additional downward slash by pressing Triangle again (High Stance only) 1
Heavenly Flow Active Parries an enemy's attack, countering with a stabbing blow. (Mid Stance Only)
Command: L1 +Triangle Button (Triangle While guarding)		 1
Earthly Flow Active Parries an enemy's attack. countering with a cutting strike. (Mid Stance Only).
Command: L1 + Square (Square While guarding)		 1
The Shrike Active Parries the enemy, stopping the enemy in their tracks, then folows !trough with two attacks. (Mid Stance Oily) 1
Moon Shadow Active

Maneuvers behind an enemy after they deflect your attack, then slashes them with an extra. (Mid/low Stance Only).

Mortal Flow Active Rushes forward and performs a hard thrust, following up with a strong slash if the thrust hits.

Mortal Flow II Active Adds a gust of wind to the follow-up slash of Mortal Flow, increasing its strength. 1

Relentless I Passive Maximum Ki increases by +30 when you have Dual Swords equipped as your main weapon. 1

Defense Arts III Passive Increases Ki recover speed while guarding by 10% when you have a dual swords equipped as your main weapon.  1

Piercing Wheel Active Repel Incoming attack as you stab your enemies over your shouder. (Mid Stance Only).

Winter Wind Active Use left stick to step forward and sweep the enemy with your dual swords after a successful Ki pulse. 1

Punish the Proud Active Block, then repel the enemy's attack with your dual swords, following up with a kick to the front. (Mid Stance only) Boss Skill
Dragon Claw Active Perform a powerful stab on a winded human enemy. This attack greatly increases your Anima Boss Skill
Ultimate Sign of the Cross Active Press Square when you have fully charged Sign of the Cross to deliver two cross-shaped blows to the enemy in front of you. Boss Skill
Double-Headed Slice Active Bring your swords together and slash once at the enemy before attacking again as you twirl your blades. (Low Stance only) Boss Skill
Firm Resolve Mystic Art Landing an attack reduces the amount of damage you take for a time. This effect can be boosted if you land another attack before it runs out. 1

 
Momentum Mystic Art Landing an attack reduces the Ki usage of subsequent attacks. This effect can be boosted if you land another attack before it runs out. 1

      Tokichiro in the two faces of hospitality drops 2 dual sword arts, "dual headed dragon" and "true sign of the cross"

        Just got an extra skill as a DROP from the boss on The Hallow Fortress. Dragon Claw, replaces the normal grapple with one that greatly increases anima. Its the one the boss uses on you.
