Eccentric's Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Eccentric's Helmet Description
This helm is notable for the style of its top part, modeled on the braided hats sported by Westerners, and the distinctive form of the articulated plates that protest the neck. The helmet's pheasant tail; motif is a nod to the crowns worn by ancient Chinese generals, and its overall style speaks volumes about Maeda's character.
This is part of a set of armor belonging to Maeda Keiji, a famed samurai from the warring states period who was known for his eccentric character.
