Echoing Thunder is one of the Hatchets in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Hatchet Skills skill tree. Hachet weapons scale best with the Skill stat, but also scale from Courage and Magic. So if your Build has high Skill, consider using this Weapon type.

Echoing Thunder Description

A pair of hatchets imbued with the power of lightning. According to legend, a sacred tree in Shinano Province was struck by a bolt of lightning, splitting the tree clean in half. These hatchets were then found in the resulting chasm. Whether they were originally buried at the heart of the tree or fell from the heavens when the lightning struck, is unknown.

• Occasionally Dropped by Shuten Doji
• Available to be crafted once the Smithing Text: Echoing Thunder is presented to the Blacksmith.
  • The Smithing Text is dropped by William in the Main Mission: The Blue-Eyed Samurai.
  • The Smithing Text is dropped by Tokichiro+(Boss) in Cherry Blossom Viewing in Daigo.
