First Samurai Helmet is a Medium Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
First Samurai Helmet Description
A splendid helmet befitting a general decorated with a family crest of whtie clouds. The yak fur that adorns the peak adds to the sense of solemnity of a commanding officer who was weathered countless battles. While the decorative crest attached to the front of the helmet resembles a three-pronged hoe, it is actually modelled after a trident vajra, an implement used in esoteric Buddhist rituals.
Part of a set of armour made to replicate that of the legendary general of the early Heian period, Sakanoue no Tamuramaro. A loyal retainer who was made supreme military commander, one of his many notable feats was subduing the great yokai Otakemaru. Seeny by many to be the idealised image of a samurai, it would not be an exaggeration to consider him the spiritual progenitor of the warriors who came after him.
