Gallant Gauntlets is a Medium Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.

Gallant Gauntlets Description

Gloves made from a hinged pair of iron plates. Entirely gold-plated down to the hands and wrists, they are worthy of a general. This set of armor was worn by Ishida Mitsunari, who served as an advisor to Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Mitsunari loyally supported the Toyotomi even after Hideyoshi's death, and wore this armor during the Battle of Sekigahara, which would turn out to be Mitsunari's final battle.
