Genmei Onmyo Mage's Hunting Robe is a Light Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Genmei Onmyo Mage's Hunting Robe Description
A black, dyed, linen hunting robe, worn over a plain unlined red garment. It is worn by the Onmyo mage Seimei. The hunting robe itself is robust enough to withstand attacks by yokai, but the mirror hanging from the neck and the sash, with its inscribed incantations, provide ever greater protection.
Genmei is an Chinese god, originating from the same astral plane as the celestial beast and guardian of the North, Genbu. It is said that Genmei's passage from the realm of the dead to the land of the living brought with it unfathomable arcane knowledge.
