Genryu's Helmet is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection,  at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.

Genryu's Helmet Description

A classic dome shaped helmet, with the rivets to connect the iron plates visible on the surface. The decorative crest featuring a fierce lion is flanked by goat horns attached to the sides of the helmet. Combined with a face-concealing visor, this helmet radiates a sinister aura.

Heavy armor worn by Saito Yoshitatsu. Genryu, meaning "black dragon" was part of the Buddhist name bestowed upon Yoshitatsu posthumously.

Location: Where to Find Genryu's Helmet

• Obtained as a reward from completing the Main Mission: The Hollow Fortress.
• Available to be crafted once the Smithing Text: Genryu's Armor is presented to the Blacksmith. This Smithing Texts is dropped by Saito Yoshitatsu in "The Point of No Return."
