Genryu Armor is an Armor in Nioh 2. Nioh 2 armor is divided into 5 categories: Head Armor, Torso Armor, Arm Guards, Leg Guards and Foot Guards. Each piece of equipment has a level, weight, durability and multiplier assigned to it, apart from additional status effects that the equipment can apply. Armor is color coded by their rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Exotic, Divine and Ethereal. The rarer the item, the more beneficial status effects it will possess.

  • Can be Soul Matched to your highest Armor piece level
  • Available in Common, Uncommon, Rare and One of a Kind qualities
  • Can be sold to the Blacksmith or Offered at a Shrine
  • Stats can be rerolled at the Blacksmith
  • In terms of appearance, this is a more unique version of the Mino Veteran Armor

      This set is amazing. The 10 second extended yokai shift is unbeatable. 15% anima charge amazing. damage reduction 4%, hell yes. 12% melee dmg in dark realm = very nice vs bosses who always go into dark realm. Just amazing set.

      Id rather have this than other heavy sets.

        I’m a big fan of this armorset. The basic def stats are a bit low compared to other, heavier armorsets(like tatenashi) but the setbonus and the looks of it are just amazing. Plus (SPOILER): Saito Yoshitatsu is actually the protagonists twin, so it feels right if I wear it. And by that I mean that it doesn’t feel like I’m just copying the looks of another character who’s a part of the main story. Personally this armorset fits all of my preferences and thats why I like it a LOT.
