Golden Gourd Gauntlets is a Light Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Arm Guards, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Golden Gourd Gauntlets Description
Armour worn by Tokichiro. These gloves consist of simple chainmail, with small and large iron plates sewn on the outside. They were designed to provide both solid protection and superlative freedom of movement.
Gourds have been grown as crops since ancient times. As it was believed that their seeds would sprout without fail, they became a symbol of success, family prosperity and fertility. It is for this reason that Tokichiro uses the image of a gourd on his standard.
