Heirloom Greaves is a Heavy Foot Guards in Nioh 2. Foot Guards protects the feet of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.

Heirloom Greaves Description

These shin guards are made from black lacuer scales that are woven together, a style that was unusual for the time. They leave no one in any doubt about the fighting pedigree of the wearer.

They are part of a set of armor passed down through the generations of a prominent military family. While the Warring States saw a dramatic expression in the mass production of armor, established warrior clans took pride in using their own armor which had been kept in the family.
