Heirloom Helmet is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Heirloom Helmet Description
The striking helmet features an impressive high peak and a sun motif at the front, while the wings that project from the left and right sides both offer protection and emphasize the grandeur of the wearer. The white whiskers attached to the face guard give the helmet an angry look and are meant to intimidate enemies.
It is part of a set of armor passed down through the generations of a prominent military family. While the Warring States saw a dramatic expression in the mass production of armor, established warrior clans took pride in using their own armor which had been kept in the family.
