Horse Guard's Gauntlets is a Light Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Arm Guards, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Horse Guard's Gauntlets Description
The left gauntlet, which utilizes long thin iron plates, offers protection from the upper arm all the way down to the back of the wearer's hand, while a plain cylindrical gauntlet protects the right hand leaving the upper arm exposed, with the aim of prioritizing lightness and flexibility.
Part of a set of armor worn by retainers when carrying out their duties as horse guards. In times of war, it was the responsibility of these samurai to protect their lord and relay messages on his behalf.
