Hyuga Director's Gauntlets is a Medium Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Hyuga Director's Gauntlets Description
A pair of cylindrical iron gauntlets with a black lacquer finish. The cords used to fasten the gauntlets feature an intricate design, providing a glimpse of Mitsuhide's cultivated tastes.
Part of a set of armor said to have been used by Akechi Mitsuhide. The imperial court granted him a title of high standing, but he was more commonly referred to by his rank: director of the Hyuga provincial governors.
