Iai Quickdraw Description

Gathers power while keeping your sword in its scabbard for a quick-draw and rapid strike. It can only be used when your sword is sheathed. Command: Hold R1 + Circle button

Iai Quickdraw Notes

• This is one of the High, single hitting attacks the sword has at it's disposal. It has two charging stages:
  
  • The first is when you release before any white flash appears on your hand. This does minimal damage, but allows you to immediately continue to attack with any quick or strong attack. As you gain Ki when you do a Sheath attack, In combination with Iai Quickdraw III,  this is very useful to continue your attack with minimal Ki loss, though Tiger Sprint can be used the same way, while doing almost double the damage.
  • The Second stage is when you see the flash of light on your hand, though this happens before you are forced to release. This where the attack gains the majority of it's damage, or all of it if you don't have Iai Quickdraw II. If you master the timing of the charge, you can use this to whiff punish attacks that recovery quickly very easily without having to wait full the full release.
