Iga Jonin Cuirass is a Light Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Iga Jonin Cuirass Description
This type of apparel was worn by the highest-ranking ninjas ("jonin") among the ninja clan of Iga Province. High-ranking ninjas gave orders to and supervised low-ranking ninjas, meaning they had little opportunity to carry out missions themselves. As such, their clothing was slightly heavier than their subordinates', who required freer movement. Upper body armor consisting of small iron scales bound together with black thread and worn underneath a black outer garment. Though slightly heavier than chainmail, it is able to protect the wearer against bullets as well as blades.
