Imperial Monk's Greaves is a Medium Foot Guards in Nioh 2. Foot Guards protect the feet of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Imperial Monk's Greaves Description
A pair of greaves comprised of long parallel iron plates fastened together and wrapped around the shins. The prayer beads below the knee are a sure sign that they belong to a monk.
Part of a set of armor worn by imperial monks in times of war. Imperial monks served as attendants to court nobles and members of the imperial family who often doubled as chief priests of prominent temples. The position is sometimes inherited, as was the case with Shimotsuma, a famed imperial monk at the temple of lionganji.
