Ippon-Datara's Odachi is one of the Odachis and Yokai Weapons in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Odachi Skills skill tree. The Odachi weapon type scales very well with Strength, but also has some scaling from Stamina and Heart. So if your Build has high Strength, consider using this Weapon type.

Ippon-Datara's Odachi Description

A large sword orginally forged and wielded by Ippon-Datara, a master-swordsmith who later turned into a yokai.

Although it might appear to be cruedly constructed, its blade is always terrifyingly sharp. No matter how little it is cared for or how much blood it soaks its blade, it never loses its edge. The spirit of its creator who was obsessed with forging truly great weapons lives on within his creation, spurring its bearer on towards the battlefield and ever more bloodshed.
