Izumo No Hirosada is an NPC in Nioh 2. NPCs are characters that can be interacted with or are shown in the game. Izumo No Hirosada Information
Izumo Hirosada is a physician from the early Heian period. He was appointed as the emperor's personal physician after rendering excellent care to the ill emperor at all hours of the day and night. Later, he was ordered by the emperor to compile all the medical knowledge passed down in each region of the country, resulting in the creation of the Daido Ruijuho, Japan's oldest medical text.
Hirosada gets lost when he ventures deep into the Zuto Tower in search of a miraculous medicine. There, he meets the protagonist who is looking for the same medicine to heal Suzuka. Hirosada tells the protagonist that the medicine is nowhere to be found. However, he shows no sign of being discouraged, and shares his Guardian Spirit with the protagonist. He is full of pride as he tells the protagonist that now, more than ever, he must endeavor to fulfill his god-given duty as a physician.
