Kaikunigo is one of the Sword Weapons in Nioh 2. The Kaikunigo, like all swords, has a good balance between offense and defense, and is a good choice if you aren't sure what sort of Enemies you will be facing. Swords also scale very well with the Heart stat, so if your Build has high Heart, consider using this Weapon type.

Kaikunigo Description

A tachi forged by the famed swordsmith Miike Denta Mitsuyo of Chikugo Province. Modeled after Sakanoue Tamuramaro's legendary blade, this sword was worn by the renowned shogun Tokugawa leyasu. Tamuramaro was a famous commander from the Heian period who led the armies of powerful clans to many a great victory in far-flung provinces such as Oshu and Ezo. He also allied with the former female bandit Suzuka Gozen to defeat a demon clan that was terrorizing Mount Suzuka in Ise Province, a tale still told to this day.
