Kajiwara Kagetoki Information
Kajiwara Kagetiju is a military commander from the late Heian period and a vassal of Minamoto no Yoritomo.
After Yoritomo's defeat in a certain battle, Kagetoki lied to his allies to protect Yoritomo despite fighting for the Taira at the time. This incident led to him beocming one of Yoritomo's most favored retainers. After Yoritomo's death, he served Yoritomo's son, Yoriee.
At Kagetoki’s request, the protagonist embarks on a quest to slay a certain yokai who is described as a threat. Unknown to the protagonist, Kagetoki has fabricated a lie to trick the protagonist into eliminating the Nigitama yokai that has learned of the surprise attack planned for Hiraizumi. The protagonist eventually sees through Kagetoki’s deceit and defeats him in battle, but this is not enough to stop the Hiraizumi attack from being carried out as planned.
