Kakizaki is a Clan in Nioh2. Players can pledge their allegiance to a Clan at the Hidden Teahouse to acquire passive Special Effects that affect all Characters linked to the account.

The Kakizaki clan governed the southwestern region of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido's Oshima Peninsula). Kakizaki Suehiro was one of the clan's most notable leaders.

Originally, the powerful family served under the Ando clan of Tsugaru, handling trade with the  Ainu to the north. During Sueshige's time as the head of the clan, war broke out between the Japanese and the Ainu, who were lead by Koshamain. A guest commander of Sueshige, by the name of Takeda Nobuhiro, was able to bring the situation under control. Subsequently, Nobuhiro was adopted as Sueshige's son-in-law, further expanding his influence in Ezo. Between hat point and the time of Suehiro's rule, the clan continued to act increasingly more independent of the Ando clan. However, it was not until Yoshihiro's reign that Toyotomi Hideyoshi granted the clan the right to claim their own land and the approval to official break away from the Ando clan and stand on their own.

The clan's family crest is one of several based on the diamond-shaped leaves of the water caltrop, an aquatic plant. The same crest was used by the Kai Genji clan's Wakasa Takeda family, whom the Kakizaki clan claim descent from.
