Kawanami Clan Greaves is a Light Foot Guards in Nioh 2. Foot Guards protects the feet of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Kawanami Clan Greaves Description
These shin protectors are fashioned from three half -cylinder iron plates. bound by leather straps and connected by hinges. They have been constructed in a way that stops water from entering, allowing for smooth movement through water.
They are part of a set of light armor favored by Hachisuka Koroku who served as the leader of the Kawanami clan that operated within the Kiso River valley. The clan was known to coexist and cooperate with the yokai of the region.
