Kawanami Clan Vest is a Light Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Kawanami Clan Vest Description
A chainmail vest that serves to protect the neck adn shoulder combined with a shell-like guard for the back. This rear section of the armor features countless sharp iron spikes that will wound foes careless enough to come too close.
It is part of a set of light armor favored by Hachisuka Koroku who served as the leader of the Kawanami clan that operated within the Kiso River valley. The clan was known to coexist and cooperate with the yokai of the region,
