Kobizen Tomonari is one of the Sword Weapons in Nioh 2. The Kobizen Tomonari, like all swords, has a good balance between offense and defense, and is a good choice if you aren't sure what sort of Enemies you will be facing. Swords also scale very well with the Heart stat, so if your Build has high Heart, consider using this Weapon type.
Kobizen Tomonari Description
A tachi forged by the master swordsrnith Tomonari of Bizen Province. Tomonari is one of three celebrated master wordsmiths, along with Sanjo Kokaji Munechika of Yamashiro Province, and Ohara Yasutsuna of Hoki Province. Bizen swords from the early days of swordcrafting, notably those created by Tomonari, Masatsune, and Kanehira, are collectively known as "kobizen", "with the to" coming from the character for "old". These swords were favored by warlords, and sometimes given as gifts, much to the delight of the recipient.
