Legendary Strategist's Hood is a Light Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Legendary Strategist's Hood Description
Refined headwear woven from white silk. It is not only elegant and strong, but is also said to harbor great spiritual power. This clothing is modeled after that of a famous strategist and was worn by Kuroda Kanbei when he served Toyotomi Hideyoshi as his strategist. Kanbei came to serve under Hideyoshi during the Oda army's attack on the Chugoku region, and used his talent for strategy to support Hideyoshi's rule over Japan. Though known as a Christian warlord at one point, Kanbei would later in life shave his head and take the Buddhist name of Josui. His often complicated life led to him talking an adaptable approach toward the world, which can be seen in his clothing featuring foreign influences.
