Mission Start Text
There are curious reports of unseasonal snowfall in Shibata Katsuie's domain. If this snow continues to fall it will make life very difficult for those that reside there.
There has to be something behind this strange phenomenon.
Could I ask you to kindly get to the bottom of this?
Mission End Text
Ah, this note makes everything clear...
It would seem that those yokai were in fact Lord Nobuyuki and his wife. So Lord Nobunaga has done it all to bring order to this land... Ah, ignore my idle musings. In any case, that should be the end of the snow.

Lingering Snow and Crimson Tracks Walkthrough
Investigate the Domain
When you start this mission, it's pretty much a straightforward area where you'll simply need to clear two areas filled with Yokai until you reach the last section. Luckily, if you clear one section, you can rest at the shrine without worrying about fighting the yokai in the section you've cleared.
In the starting area, you'll find the one and only shrine for this mission. Walk up to the middle and the first Yokai will appear which is the Karakasa Umbrella. A One-eyed Imp will then appear neext, make sure to kill it as fast as you can to stop it from growing into a One-eyed Oni. Next will be a Snowclops and another Karakasa Umbrella - try to kill the umbrella first to stop it from shooting paralyzing arrows at you, killing both yokai opens up the path to the second section - make sure to rest at the shrine before heading to the second section.
For the second section, the first yokai you'll encounter is an Enki followed by another Karakasa Umbrella an One-Eyed Imp. The last pair of Yokai that will appear is a Namahage and a blue Oni-bi. Killing the last pair unlocks the last section ahead where the marked destination is - again, make sure to run back to the shrine to heal and replenish your elixir before heading to the last section.
As for the last area, the marked destination, first, a Snowclops appears followed by another Namahage and a flame and ice Oni-bi. You'll want to kill the two Oni-bi first to stop it from shooting projectiles before facing the Namahage. After killing the three yokai, the last two yokai will appear which is another Enki and a new yokai, the Flying Bolt. Focus on killing the flying lady yokai first before the Enki to stop it from shooting projectiles that can slow your movements making you vulnerable to the Enki's attacks - successfully killing the Yokai and acquiring the Tattered Note item it drops completes this mission.
