Malefactor's Cuirass is a Heavy Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Malefactor's Cuirass Description
Black lacquered armor worn with a battle surcoat. This coat, when worn together with Hisahide's helmet. conjures the image of a spider's web. The sleeves are decorated with yak fur that has has been dyed a striking shade of red.
Armor worn by Matsunaga Hisahide. Responsible for many atrocities, such as the assassination of shogun Ashikaga Yoshiteru, the destruction of the Miyoshi Triumvirate and the needless burning down of the Great Buddha Hall of Todaiji, he was viewed with considerable caution by Oda Nobunaga.
