Master Archer's Hat is a Heavy Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection,  at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.

Master Archer's Hat Description

An elongated hat of the style worn by noble the battlefield. It indicates the high social st of the Imagawa clan. which they were afforded due to their connections with the Ashigawa shogunate.
It is part of a set of armor said to have been worn by Imagawa Yoshimoto. Expanding out from Suruga Province. Yoshimoto had a majority of the Tokaido region under his control at his peak. He was also renowned for his skill with a bow, earning him the title of "Tokaido's greatest archer".
