Mataza's Helmet is a Light Head Armor in Nioh 2. Head Armor protects the head of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Light Armor, lowers your equipment load, making you move faster and Dodge more easily. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Mataza's Helmet Description
This helmet is part of as set of armor worn by Maeda Toshie during the civil war. It bears the great spear-wielding military commander's nickname.
The helmet, mimicking the style of the long hats worn by nobles, has the maeda family crest emblazoned on the dome. The nexk guard has also been decorated with white yak fur, a reminder of Toshie's fondness for extravagant wear.
