Merciless Barrage is one of the Spear Skills in Nioh 2. Merciless Barrage is an active skill that allows you to launch an enemy that is out of Ki into the air and then perform a powerful thrust attack.

Merciless Barrage Description

Launches an opponent who is out of Ki into the air, and follows up with a powerful thrust attack.
Command: triangle button on opponent out of Ki.

Merciless Barrage Notes.

• This skill is considered a grapple.
• After the attack is complete, the enemy will be left grounded for even more damage.
• Human bosses will recover from this move faster. In order to counteract this, you need to cancel the end of the grapple with a burst counter or yokai ability and hit them while thy  are still on the ground. This window to do this is tight.
