Mounted Archer Gauntlets is a Medium Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player, and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Mounted Archer Gauntlets Description
These gauntlets comprise thin strips of metal threaded together with sagebrush thread. Their decoration is not overly elaborate as they are designed with practical bowmanship in mind.
They are pal of a set of armor created for use by mounted archers. Both archery and horsemanship were highly valued at this period and samurai families prided themselves on their mastery of these arts. During the Warring States period, the use of equestrian archery actually decreased as a tactic used in battle, but warriors continued to train in it.
