Odachis are Weapons in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Odachi Skills skill tree. The Odachi weapon type scales very well with Strength, but also has some scaling from Stamina and Heart. This page covers a full list of Odachis in Nioh 2 and information about their stats.

There are two different scaling types for the Odachi: the more deeply curved blades have more equalized scaling with heart and stamina compared to the straighter ones.
The Odachi has several strong points:
- Pressuring blocking enemies. On top of being able to attack with mid stance attacks without them rebounding, you can also follow up your high break high stance attacks with quick or strong attacks from other stances, on top of having a natural guard breaking skill in Chasing Waves. Special note goes to its Flash Attack, which does the most Ki damage and especially Break out of all of them.
- Strong defensive options. Bolting Boar is a unique parry that works on nearly every enemy, including most Yokai. Swallow's Wing is similar to Swallow's Wing II for the sword, without the Agility requirement for the invincibility. Undaunted minimizes the Ki lost from blocking, and you can cancel the lengthy recovery by dodging when you release the move, or Ki pulsing if you have a Blessed Weapon/ Ultimate Strength. Cuckoo's Call is an attack with Auto-Block, and can be extended to time it easier and can be done from blocking.
- High Damage. Moonlit Snow and Moonlit Snow Redux are some of the Highest damage/ DPS Active skills in the game.
However, it lacks a high burst Ki damage option when you hit enemies, and the weapon itself is slow in general. It also lacks melee damage in its skill tree.
Below is a list of Odachis in Nioh 2, and each Odachi has an effect that will ALWAYS be present, no matter what other random bonuses there may be. These effects are listed in the "effect" column. Damage values are not listed since these change by rarity and level, making it difficult to compare them easily. Break and Block are listed, since these do not change with rarity or level.
Every Weapon in the game has Familiarity. The better quality of the weapon, the more Familiarity can be obtained with the weapon, and over time the damage and bonuses of the weapon will improve as the Familiarity increases up to a maximum. This way, using the same weapon over time can yield higher damage than another, even if it's lower level.
Please see Odachi Skills for more information.
