One-Eyed Dragon's Cuirass is a Medium Torso Armor in Nioh 2. Torso Armor protects the torso of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Medium Armor provides a balance between protection and agility. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
One-Eyed Dragon's Cuirass Description
Upper body armor made from thick iron plates set with vertical joints. It comes complete with black-lacquered armored sleeves. Part of a traditional armor set favored by Date Masamune, a feudal lord who ruled over Oshu (present-day Tohoku region). It was created by Myochin, a famous armorer from Kamakura in Sagami Province (present-day Kanagawa prefecture). Despite losing an eye to illness as a child, Masamune became the head of his clan at a young age. His aggressive territorial expansion earned him the name "The One-Eyed Dragon." Clad entirely in black, his armor was said to have captivated even his enemies.
