Phoenix Wing is one of the Switchglaives in Nioh 2. This weapon works in conjunction with the Switchglaive Skills skill tree, and usually has good scaling with the Magic stat. It also scales with Constitution and Skill. So if your Build has high Magic, consider using this Weapon type.
Phoenix Wing Description
A switchglaive within which dwells the power of the Chinese phoenix, Ho-oh, ruler of divine beasts. One theory suggests that a yokai hunter deeply devoted to Ho-oh attempted a one hundred day pilgrimage, and was rewarded with a single phoenix feather at the end of his ordeal. This switchglaive was created from that feather, and imbued with the divine spirit of the phoenix. A blow from its blade will suppress the Ki of those on the receiving end, making it an extremely effective weapon against yokai.
