Punish the Proud is one of the Dual Swords Skills in Nioh2. It is a Boss Skill that drops from Imagawa Yoshimoto that parries human enemy attacks.
Punish the Proud Description
Block, then repel the enemy's attack with our dual swords, following up with a kick to the front. (Mid Stance only)
Command: L1 + Square (Square while Guarding)
Punish the Proud Notes
- If the kick lands it will tumble human enemies.
- If the kick is blocked, it does significant Ki damage.

The active frames on the thing is incredibly long, but it takes forever for the actual block/parry frames to start up, so it's only good against really slow attacks, which the stronger human enemies rarely use. And the kick damage from it when it gets blocked seems really low to me, as I feel I get faster ki damage just from spamming normal attacks against blocking enemies constantly. I'd rather just stick with Demon Thrust over this.
