Rain of Terror is a Yokai Skill in Nioh 2. Rain of Terror is unlocked by attuning a Karakasa Umbrella Soul Core to your Spirit Guardian, enabling you to perform this unique skill.

 

Rain of Terror Effects

The player briefly assumes the form of a Karakasa Umbrella, hopping into the air and firing a volley of spines at nearby enemies. Enemies hit will accumulate the Paralyzed status ailment. 

 

How to get Rain of Terror

 

Rain of Terror Notes & Tips

  • This skill is best used at point-blank range, which makes it more likely that several spines will hit a given target. This is most noticeable against the larger yokai.
  • The spines can be blocked, so try to avoid using the skill on guarding enemies.
