Scion of Tamura's Greaves is a Heavy Arm Guards in Nioh 2. Arm Guards protect the arms of the player and can have varying degrees of quality and level, just like Weapons. In addition, they can provide Toughness bonus, physical, and elemental protection to your character. Heavy Armor, Usually provides better protection, at the cost of movement and dodge speed. Toughness makes you deplete less Ki when Blocking, so if you wish to Block more often, consider wearing Armor that provides more. Usually the heavier Armor the better.
Scion of Tamura's Greaves Description
A pair of tanned deerskin gauntlets that only cover the area extending below the elbow. The area between the elbow and the back of the hand has been fortified with layers of thick and sturdy leather for added protection.
Part of a set of armor believed to have been worn by Urabe no Suetake, one of the loyal allies that served Minamoto no Yorimitsu, who were compared to the Four Heavenly Kings of Buddhist Legend. Suetake's official family name is Sakanoue no Tamuramaro. A master of the bow, he is said to be skilled enough to shoot down a needle hanging from a thread.
